Uniting Creatives
across WA

Our Mission

Yes, we chose to accept it (back in 1980) and we’ve been going strong ever since. Like all good origin stories, the PADC started with a single mission that’s stood the test of time – championing WA creativity. The art, the innovation, the collaboration, and the growth, this club is a place for industry leaders and emerging creatives alike, to connect and shape the future of WA’s vibrant creative landscape.

Elevating WA’s Creative Future, Together
It all began in the 80’s

That may be before you were borna decade you never experienced or your absolute glory days – and it really doesn’t matter, the PADC is designed to change and elevate alongside the industry we have today with the influence of where we’ve come from. This club is here to rep the full spectrum of commercial creativity across Western Australia: the film, photography, design, strategy, digital, copy… the craft of what it means to produce work that’s full of flavour.

What you’ll find at the core

Great ideas (and the creatives behind them), platformed. You’ll find a community of people who lift each other up, mentors and cheerleaders, and a whole lot of celebration to bring us all together and inspire the work that you’ll create next. We have a calendar of events year-round—it’s not just the Skulls, although we do put a whole lot of effort into our favourite child inaugural awards night. Just imagine the inside of [insert fave artist]’s mind, that’s what’s at our core… utter brilliance (and none of the mess. Okay some mess)

You belong here

We can say that confidently because a) you’ve made it this far into the website and b) you’re actually reading the copy and not just playing with the scrolling pics. One of us. One of us. We’re a creative community, pretty simply. And when it comes to creativity, there is no hierarchy, we’re all in it together, making art and doing our best to share it with the world. Together, we’re responsible for creating an industry that’s inspiring, inclusive, kind, and growing in the right direction.

The people behind the club, the communes, the Skulls.
